Meet The Founder

Mana Builders grew from a lifelong path of discipline, craftsmanship, and respect for the natural world.

Before construction became my trade, my foundation was martial arts, meditation, and healing work. As a lifelong martial artist, Kung Fu Sifu, Chinese medicine practitioner, teacher, and student, I learned to value focus, patience, flow, and attention to detail. Those principles shape the way I approach both life and building.

Construction has also been part of my life since childhood. As a child, I watched my father, an ironworker, build our home in the jungles of Brazil. He showed me the value of hard work, careful planning, and doing things with pride.

My first real hands-on construction experience came while living off-grid in the Santa Cruz Mountains, studying philosophy at UCSC and working as a handyman. That period shaped the way I see building: practical, creative, grounded, and deeply connected to the land.

Since then, my path has included project management in tech, custom epoxy woodwork, and helping run Seedles, a seed ball business where I effectively served as the acting operations manager. These experiences taught me how to organize people, manage details, solve problems, and bring a vision to completion.

Mana Builders brings all of these influences together: disciplined planning, honest communication, skilled execution, and respect for the homes, land, and people we work with.
